Duncan Park Pool & Spash Pad One of Fairburn's favorite outdoor spaces is Duncan Park. Residents love how clean and well-maintained the grounds are, and the shady trail that circles the duck pond is perfect for either a quiet stroll or a healthy jog with scenic views. Their menu is full of elevated twists on classic Southern brunch items, like salmon deviled eggs or chicken & dining French toast. Come in for their weekday specials, including happy hour (which will be a little earlier than most, since they close by 3 PM). The friendly staff also caters and hosts special events!
Don Nachos Enjoy authentic Mexican flavors at Don Nachos. Their extensive menu includes mole enchiladas, aguachile, birria tacos, and even some breakfast items. Georgia Renaissance Festival Hear ye, hear ye! Come one, come all to The Georgia Renaissance Festival, the biggest medieval festival in the Southeast, complete with jousting, magic, mead, and giant turkey legs. This annual outdoor, immersive festival has taken place April - June for over 40 years, and currently has a different theme each weekend. There are myriad activities and entertainment options for the whole family, and cosplay is very much encouraged. Shop over 150 artisan markets, pick your poison at over 300 food stalls, steady your hand at an archery competition, get your face painted, and enjoy live music, games and rides every weekend. In the fall, the 100-acre fairground transforms for GARF After Dark, a 21+ experience from 7 PM - midnight where adults can revel under the stars.
