Outback Bikes & Biking Trails

Located on a quiet street near downtown Hapeville, Outback Bikes may seem like an unassuming shop. But as you enter this community gem, you'll find rows of bicycles, displays full of safety equipment, and pretty much any cycling accessory you might need. Outback Bikes is a family-run company that's been serving the Atlanta area since 1986. They work with all two-wheel enthusiasts, from beginners to veteran cyclists. You can test ride, rent, or purchase a bike, and they even provide maintenance and repair services.
The ATL Airport District has a number of biking trails. One great option is the Phoenix Trail, a two-mile trail and former rail line connecting College Park's industrial area to West Point Avenue in the downtown dining and shopping area. Union City offers several biking trails, including the Castlewood Road Path, Cheshire Farm Trail, Creek Walk Connector, and the trails within Ronald Bridges Park. Nearby is Southside Park (3460 Jonesboro Road SE), one of Atlanta’s largest parks, which features eight miles of easy, intermediate, and difficult trails.
