If you love a patio or rooftop situation (and who doesn't, right?!), you've come to the right place. The ATL Airport District has plenty of alfresco dining options, from coffee shops, taprooms, restaurants and rooftop lounges. Below is far from an exhaustive list of outdoor dining in the District, but we think it's a great starting point for planning your next Southside foodie adventure.

Aye Tea Elle

Just off Main Street in downtown College Park, Aye Tea Elle has established itself as a destination for a sophisticated night out on the Southside. The menu of elevated tapas, such as succulent lamb lollipops, fried lobster bites and charbroiled oysters, are perfect for sharing al fresco on their patio. In addition to show stopping cocktails, hookah is available to enjoy while relaxing and watching the planes fly overhead

Beer Girl, Growler & Bottle Shop

All of your beer, wine and seltzer needs can be taken care of at Hapeville's Beer Girl, Growler & Bottle Shop, and their shaded back patio overlooking Arts Alley is a primo spot for those opting to stay and sip. Stop in on Tuesdays for $12 beer pitchers, Wednesdays for $6 wine specials and enjoy $5 wine slushies every Thursday!

Brake Pad

A quirky, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar in a converted old gas station, Brake Pad's patio is the ideal spot to refuel and watch life go by in Historic Downtown College Park. You'll find all your favorite bar food items here, including what many say is the best burger in town. Grab a seat outside and judge for yourself!

College Park Restaurant Row

A cluster of Black-owned restaurants situated on Main Street in Historic Downtown College Park make up what's become affectionately known as "restaurant row." Tables line the sidewalk outside of Johnny's Chicken & Waffles, Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar and The Real Milk & Honey, creating an inviting dining experience. With each restaurant serving delicious food and lively vibes that spill out from the dining rooms to the great outdoors, you'll enjoy an incredible meal no matter which table you choose.

Hapeville Corner Tavern

The Hapeville Corner Tavern offers not only a covered patio and rooftop bar, but also an expansive grassy area with picnic tables and yard games, such as bocce, to enjoy with a beer or seasonal cocktail.

JPresso Cafe

Get a dose of vitamin D with your caffeine by sipping your latte on JPresso's patio. Thanks to the eclectic decor on the inside and outside of this welcoming coffee shop, you're sure to spot something intriguing while enjoying your drink and munching your avocado toast.

Manchester Arms Pub

Like traditional pubs in England, Manchester Arms Pub is a home away from home for regulars and visitors alike. In fact, the pub is a home that was converted to a restaurant nestled right in the heart of College Park. The inviting patio is the preferred spot to enjoy a pint on a beautiful day, along with their menu of British comfort food with a Southern twist.

Nouveau Bar & Grill

Raise a glass - the rooftop dining area at College Park's Nouveau Bar & Grill is now open! Soak in the vibe, enjoy the breeze, and indulge in Nouveau's signature Cajun Seafood Grits. If you want to attempt to recreate the dish at home, their stone ground grits are available to purchase by the bag with proceeds funding college scholarships for local youth.

Paper Plane

For authentic Thai cuisine, craft cocktails and local beer, head to Hapeville's Paper Plane and enjoy the ambiance of their outdoor space. With outdoor table seating, a lounge area and green space for yard games, it's the ultimate gathering space.

Rooftop at the Overland

The open-air covered lounge on the top floor of the Kimpton Overland Hotel in Hapeville offers one of the best vantage points in the District for watching planes take off and land at neighboring Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Rooftop at the Overland is open to hotel guests and the public Thursday - Saturday from 5 - 10 pm for sipping craft cocktails and enjoying sharable bites.
