The Gateway Center Arena opened in College Park in November 2019 – and brought the College Park Skyhawks with it, the Atlanta Hawks G-League affiliate team. Following its inaugural season, the AJC takes a deeper look into how the Arena being home to this team benefitted not just the Skyhawks, but the Hawks, too – in addition to our College Park community. We can’t wait for more events to come at the Arena.
