College Park, Ga. (September 16, 2014)Meet College Park, Georgia (Meet CPGA), recently announced that former sales manager, Meg Oxford, has been promoted to director of sales for the destination marketing organization.

 

“Meg has held a pivotal role in the persistent growth that Meet CPGA has experienced in the past year,” said Cookie Smoak, president of Meet CPGA. “We are so proud to witness her own professional growth coincide with the organization’s development and we are excited to see what the future holds for the sales department as a whole.”

 

In her new position, Oxford will be responsible for managing and leading the entire sales team. This includes strategic planning for the sales team, short- and long-term sales plans with set activities and goal benchmarks. Oxford brings to Meet CPGA two decades of sales and business development experience in addition to event marketing and management. Previously, she was with the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau of High Point, NC, and held a variety of customer-facing positions with marketing agencies, business media, exhibition, corporate and convention and visitor bureau organizations.
