ATLANTA – (July 28, 2022) – The ATL Airport District, the destination marketing organization for the cities of College Park, Hapeville, and Union City, Ga., today announced the promotion of Kristin Schneider to Vice President of Sales. With nearly seven years of experience promoting and selling the District’s convention and meeting space options, Schneider has distinguished herself through her interpersonal skills, leadership abilities and ultimately, her ability to drive revenue to the District and ensure that all goals are met.
“Since joining our team in 2015, Kristin has consistently contributed to the District’s success in bringing in corporate businesses and other groups for a variety of meetings, events and conventions,” said Cookie Smoak, president of the ATL Airport District. “Through her dedicated and passionate approach, she has become an invaluable part of the team and we are proud to recognize her with this recent and well-deserved promotion. We look forward to watching her succeed in her new role!”
Schneider joined the ATL Airport District team in 2015 as sales manager, quickly rising to senior sales manager and shortly after promoted to the director of sales. Schneider also brings experience from her previous role as sales manager at the Georgia International Convention Center. She has used that experience to help promote the District as a leading convention location for meetings, convention planners and event rights holders, both domestically and internationally. She has a proven track record with more than a decade of cultivating relationships with clients and exceeding sales goals.
