From a celebration of light and creativity at a beloved lantern parade to thrilling bicycle races that weave their way through the District, spring is in the air, and we’re here to help you enjoy every second.

🏐 LOVB Atlanta: Women's Wellness Night
Saturday March 21st | 2PM | Gateway Center Arena
Women’s Wellness Night, sponsored by Emory Healthcare, is a celebration of strong bodies, healthy minds, and the power of women on and off the court. Come cheer on the amazing athletes of Atlanta's League One Volleyball team take on Salt Lake City on Saturday March 21st at the Gateway Center Arena.
🦋 Hapeville Butterfly Lantern Parade
Saturday March 21st | 5 - 10 PM | Jess Lucas Park
The enchanted Hapeville Butterfly Lantern Parade returns for its fourth magical year, where twinkling lights and illuminated butterfly creations wow guests of all ages. Create your own butterfly lantern and dance or flutter your way down the mile-long parade route, followed by an evening of food vendors, a pop-up artist market, and other festivities. The festival starts at 5 PM, with the parade kicking off at 8:10 PM - just in time to get that perfect glow✨
Looking for inspiration? Register for one of several butterfly lantern puppet workshops throughout the month of March led by parade artist Chantelle Rytter, where you can design your own awe-inspiring lantern.
🏀 College Park Skyhawks: Fan Appreciation Night
Wednesday March 25 | 7PM | Gateway Center Arena
Hey sports fans, this one's for you. Come out to the Gateway Center Arena to watch the G-League College Park Skyhawks versus the Osceola Magic on March 25th during the annual Fan Appreciation Night Sponsored by Aaron's. But you better get your tickets quick! This event has a history of selling out. Sometimes it's standing room only, but you'll probably be on your feet cheering the whole game anyway.
🍷 College Park Wine Stroll & Live Music on the Lawn
Thursday April 2nd | Start Times TBA | Historic Main Street College Park
Shake off winter and mingle with local business owners and neighbors at the annual College Park Wine Stroll & Live Music on the Lawn, where you can sip on curated wine tastings and feast on tasty local bites all the way down Main Street on Thursday, April 2nd. Then, soak up the beautiful spring weather on the Keith James Auditorium lawn, where you can settle down and enjoy a free live performance by talented artists. Take spring memories home with you by checking out the artisan vendors and local shops. Stay tuned for registration details!
☕ Hapeville’s Coffee & Chrome Monthly Car Show
Saturday April 11th and May 9th | 8:30 AM to 12 PM | Jess Lucas Park
April officially kicks off the 2026 Coffee & Chrome season, which takes place every second Saturday through September. This family-friendly free car and motorcycle show proudly presents vintage automobiles, decked-out vehicles, and roaring motorcycles. Rev up the morning with chrome, coffee, and the entire Hapeville and District community.
🍗 Georgia Renaissance Festival
Saturdays & Sundays April 11 - May 31 | 10:30 AM - 6 PM | Fairburn
Jousting! Juggling! Fire Eating! Turkey Legs! It's the most fun anyone can have 8 miles south of the Atlanta airport. The Georgia Renaissance Festival is returning to Fairburn this spring and it's the perfect place for friends, couples, families, or first timers to come experience this iconic event. With over 150 artisan vendors, 300 food stalls, plus roaming performers, stage shows, rides, and games, there's truly something for everyone. You're not required to come dressed as the locals, but it's a lot more fun if you do.
💃 La Fiesta en Hapeville
Saturday May 16th | 5-8 PM | Jess Lucas Park
La Fiesta en Hapeville is a vibrant celebration of Latine culture hallmarked by live music, food vendors, storytelling, and fun for the entire family. Enjoy face painting, inflatables, and a clown performance, or hang onto the mechanical bull and partake in a human-sized game of foosball. However you choose to spend the night, this spirited and lively event is a District must in the spring. Parking and admission are free, and the event is scheduled rain or shine.

Disfruta de pintacaritas, inflables y una actuación de payasos, o súbete al toro mecánico y participa en una partida de futbolín tamaño-humano. Como sea que decidas pasar la noche, este animado y emocionante evento es una visita obligada en el Distrito durante la primavera. El estacionamiento y la entrada son gratuitos, y el evento se realiza con lluvia o con sol.
🏀 WNBA Atlanta Dream: Home Opener
