As we established in our College Park Progressive Dinner blog, the ATL Airport District is a mecca for locally owned, flavor-packed restaurants, making it hard to pick just one spot for a night out. Instead, why not enjoy a progressive dinner, sampling appetizers, entrees, and desserts from multiple eateries? We’ve curated a line-up of Hapeville’s best dishes to help you build an unforgettable dinner itinerary.

First Course

Whet your appetite with a starter at one of these standout spots.

Hapeville Corner Tavern

Nothing has made a shift on the dining scene as much as Brussels sprouts! Hapeville Corner Tavern has one of the best iterations throughout the District. Begin your adventure with the Brussels All the Way, featuring bacon, goat cheese, honey, Balsamic reduction and almonds for a flavor-packed vegetable-forward dish.

Hapeville Pizza CompanyHPC Wings

Known for more than just pizza, Hapeville Pizza Company has an avid fan base for their signature baked wings! The baking process allows the wings to maintain a strong flavor and texture without added grease. Hapeville Pizza Company offers wings in over 15 flavors. Order between 6 and 50 wings, choosing from hot, BBQ, dry rub, or plain. These wings are perfect for starting your dinner journey with a flavorful bang.

Sombreros Mexican Cantina

A family-owned restaurant serving authentic Mexican dishes, Sombrero's is a favorite amongst locals and visitors for its convenient location, excellent service, and undeniably delicious menu. Kick off your evening with a plate of hot, flavorful nachos. Customize your nachos with chicken or beef – both of which are well-seasoned and tender – or keep it vegetarian-friendly with beans. Then, pile on toppings like jalapenos, salsa, sour cream, and queso.

Second Course

Dig in to the main course!

Folk Art

Craving breakfast for dinner? Folk Art offers breakfast all day, including the must-try Crab Cake Benedict: two lump crab cakes atop English muffins, layered with tomatoes, sauteed spinach, poached eggs and homemade hollandaise sauce.

Paper Plane

A Hapeville staple, Paper Plane brings a taste of Thailand to the District, pairing authentic dishes with local beers and craft cocktails. Try their Pad Kee Mao, featuring wide rice noodles stir-fried with Thai basil, onions, bell peppers, egg, basil chili sauce and your choice of protein.

Volare Sq

Volare Wine & Bistro

Volare’s meticulously crafted menu features multiple scrumptious items to tantalize anyone's palate. Although it may be hard to choose from their well-rounded selection, may we recommend the Grouper Chardonnay? Savor succulent pan seared mahi mahi topped with lump crab and complimented by artichoke hearts, tomatoes, fresh basil, shallot beurre blanc, and mashed potatoes. This dish delivers bold flavors with every bite.

Third Course

Complete your culinary adventure with a sweet treat, a nightcap, or both!

Beer Girl, Growlers & Bottleshop

Cap off your meal with a local brew or bottle of wine from Beer Girl, where there’s something to suit every taste from pale ales to lagers and stouts to an impressive wine inventory from around the globe. Don’t miss Khonso Brewing’s Joy Land, a one-of-a-kind cream ale brewed with grits. Yes, you read that right – grits! This unique ingredient softens the beer’s profile, creating a light, refreshing finish. Cheers to discovering new flavors!

Café Belli

For a sophisticated nightcap, head to Café Belli for classic cocktails. If you need a bit of a pick-me-up to shake off the progressive dinner food coma, order the Espresso Martini. Made from Hanson Organic Vodka, espresso, simple syrup, coffee liquor and topped with three espresso beans – this cocktail will hit the spot.

Chick-fil-A Hapeville Dwarf House

If you still have room for a dessert, enjoy one of Hapeville’s most charming and unique experiences – the Chick-fil-A Dwarf House. As the original location of the beloved fast-food empire, the Dwarf House menu features a variety of treats exclusive to this location. Although the entire dessert menu is tempting, it doesn’t get much better than their rich and creamy Chocolate Pie. Topped with homemade whipped cream, this is a Truett family delicacy!

Lickety Split, Southern Kitchen & Bar

Round out your evening with a slice of Southern comfort at Lickety Split. Their Sweet Potato Pie is the perfect way to wrap up a delectable tour of Hapeville.
