Samantha Singleton, museum manager of the Hapeville Depot Museum, is shaking things up at the long-standing gem of downtown Hapeville. Since joining the City of Hapeville team less than a year ago, she has rolled up her sleeves to spruce up the exhibit space and her passion for art and history has fueled the exciting new programming that fills the museum's event calendar. Under her leadership, monthly art exhibits are on display in the depot's historic waiting room with accompanying workshops and history lectures, and a new permanent exhibit that highlights the struggle for civil rights and worker's rights at Hapeville's former Atlanta Assembly Plant was recently unveiled. Watch the video below to learn more about Samantha and the big impact she is making in the District.
