Seafood & BBQ Festival and Concert

The 2026 Seafood & BBQ Festival and Concert, a "Country and Southern Soul Showcase" will take place at the Fairburn City Center as part of Fairburn Outside! The event will be hosted by Dee Dee Parker of KISS 104.1 and feature DJ Antron, among many other musical guests! Come enjoy delicious eats and soulful beats.

Sabor: Hispanic Heritage Celebration Concert

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Fairburn with the Sabor Concert! This concert is dedicated to honoring and recognizing the Hispanic/Latin community, culture and achievements!

Fairburn Fall Festival & Parade

The annual Fairburn Fall Festival & Parade is expected to attract 17k visitors this year! Included in the festivities will be plenty of food and beverage vendors, local non-profits, and organizations ready to be a part of an engaging community experience. The impressive parade will kick off at 9AM with bands, cars, and artists, with the rest of the fest resuming at 11AM with live performances, rides, and all the fun you can handle. Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

The City of Fairburn Parks and Rec Department invites you to join their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. This event honors our survivors, the memories of loved ones that have been lost to breast cancer, and supports those currently in the fight. This one-mile walk begins at the Fairburn Rec Center with a group warm-up and reminds us that with community effort and unity, no one is in this alone. 

Georgia Renaissance Festival Fall Fling

Visit Nottingham by day, and stay to play in the warm glow of an autumn evening. This lantern-lit fling, full of your favorite taverns, performers, and festival grounds, sold out the previous two years and has now doubled in size. Open on select Saturdays and Black Friday, reserve your space on the priority waitlist soon to be first in line when tickets go on sale this Labor Day! This is a family-friendly fling and costumes are strongly encouraged, although not required to make merry and be a part of the magic. 

GARF After Dark

This premium event is 21+ and offers adult fans of the Georgia Renaissance Fair a chance to revel in Nottingham after hours. Four Fridays, plus Thanksgiving Eve, come indulge with exclusive cocktails, curated bites, hookah, live music, and a headline DJ. Each night will have a different theme, and no experience will be the same. This is an opportunity to live with abandon, spark camaraderie, and bask in the spectacle of it all. Hapeville Happy Days Weekend

Hapeville rocks in September with two nights of free family-friendly concerts at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park! On Friday, September 18, "Alumni Night," hometown favorites Spectrum performs at 7PM, with Hot Candy taking the stage around 8:30PM to close out the night. Saturday night is "Nostalgia Night" featuring plenty of throwback vibes and classic hits. The Rec Band will open the show at 7PM before headliner Erica Dawson Exclusive hits all the right notes at 8:30PM. Bring your blankets, your lawn chairs, and get ready for a great weekend full of music, art, and food vendors galore!

Hapeville Fall Gallery Crawl

Stroll the streets of Hapeville with a drink in hand, and discover work by local artists in unexpected places. Participating businesses and storefronts become pop-up galleries, and live musicians create an inviting atmosphere for the entire downtown community. Crawlers will get a map of participating businesses and plenty of food and alcohol vendors along the way. Come get creative! 

Downtown Live: Chili Cook-Off

Get ready to savor the flavor and spice up the night with this year's Chili Cook-Off! This community event is organized by Family Life Ministries and is free to attend. This year's featured musical performers are Elliott Phillips with opener Angelina Davis, and the evening's proceeds will benefit Hapeville's First Baptist Church to help support those in need. Ready to compete? Hapeville's Día de Muertos Celebration

The 8th annual Hapeville Día de Muertos Celebration will include art exhibitions, an artisan market, live music and performances, a community altar, food, and more! 18th Annual Atlanta Quilt Festival

The Atlanta Quilt festival at the Southwest Arts Center is for professional quilters and beginners alike. The organization is dedicated to preserving and promoting African American quilting and other textile art. Throughout the series, a wide array of classes are offered to encourage beginners as well as help practiced quilters hone their craft. At the heart of the festival is a juried exhibit that showcases over 100 quilts.  

20th Metro Atlanta Cycling Club: One Love Century

This epic weekend is one of the best charity rides in Metro Atlanta and has become the largest in the Southeast. More than 10 youth organizations have benefitted from the proceeds of this fundraiser, which includes 27, 44, 62, and 101-mile routes with plenty of rest stops, mechanics, food and beverages to keep you going along the way, and a huge party at the finish line. The One Love Century brings together 2000+ cyclists riding over a lovely rolling terrain of rural areas. The event happens rain or shine!  Register here to ride or sign up to volunteer!

Roots & Routes Storytelling Festival

Azúcar Music Festival

Veteran's Motorcade and Family Fun Day

Come together to show appreciation for our veterans in the multi-city motorcade in honor of our brave men and women in the armed forces. The route starts at Welcome All Park and ends at Wilkerson Mill Park. There will be activities for the whole family, including food trucks, a vendors market, live music, and cars on display.

13th Annual Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness 5k and Color Run

Union City is hosting its second annual Cultura y Sabor Food Truck Festival at Eagles Nest Park to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. "Cultura y sabor" translates to "culture and flavor," and this event promises to deliver plenty of both!  Not only will there be an unforgettable array of authentic Hispanic food vendors, there will also be live music performances. The festival is free and open to all ages, so come by to enjoy the atmosphere and support local businesses!
