Be a part of the celebration!Kick It in the District is the ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (AADCVB) official watch party venue program, created to activate local businesses, welcome fans, and celebrate the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 26™ across the District’s member cities.
As the destination marketing organization for the cities of College Park, Fairburn, Hapeville, South Fulton and Union City, the AADCVB is inviting eligible bars and restaurants to help showcase the energy, hospitality, and community spirit of the District during the tournament period.
Watch Party Venue Eligibility & Participation Guidelines
ELIGIBLE VENUE TYPES
To be considered, applicants must be an operating:
- Bar
- Restaurant
- Brewery, taproom, or similar hospitality venue
- Mixed-use venue with food and beverage service
VENUE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To participate in Kick It In The District, venues must:
Be located within the ATL Airport District service area
- Be physically located within the city limits of one of the ATL Airport District’s member cities: College Park, Fairburn, Hapeville, South Fulton, or Union City
Be properly licensed and in good standing
- Maintain all required business, food service, and alcohol service licenses and permits
- Be in compliance with applicable health, safety, and occupancy regulations
Have the ability to air matches on-site
- Provide reliable access to match broadcasts
- Have a minimum of two functioning televisions dedicated to watch party viewing
- Ensure televisions are placed in visible locations for patrons
- Offer an appropriate audio setup for the viewing experience where possible
Provide an event-ready guest experience
- Be open and staffed during designated watch party times
- Offer food and beverage service throughout the event
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests
- Be able to manage expected attendance levels responsibly
Support promotion of the watch party program
- Agree to display approved promotional materials provided by the CVB
- Promote participation through the venue’s own channels when possible, including social media, website, email, and in-house signage
- Submit venue details, contact information, and requested materials by program deadlines
Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Provide a fan-friendly environment for a broad audience
- Follow responsible beverage service practices
- Comply with all applicable laws, safety standards, and event participation requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to venues that:
- Have experience hosting sports watch parties or community events
- Can accommodate medium to large groups comfortably
- Are located in high-visibility commercial corridors or visitor-friendly areas
- Are willing to offer themed menu items, specials, or fan engagement activities
What the CVB Will Provide
Participating venues selected for Kick It In The District may receive support from the ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau, including:
- Inclusion in the official Kick It In The District promotional campaign
- Listing on campaign webpages, maps, and promotional materials
- Branded marketing collateral such as posters, table tents, or flyers
- Digital promotional assets for social media and venue marketing
- Possible giveaway items or fan engagement materials, as available
- Program coordination and communications support leading up to the event period
Selection Process
The CVB will review all applications on a rolling basis through May 15, 2026.
The CVB reserves the right to limit participation as needed to ensure geographic distribution across the district and balanced representation among its member cities. The CVB also reserves the right to decline any application that does not align with campaign standards or community values.
All accepted venues will be notified in writing. Official participation is contingent upon execution of a simple participation agreement.
