New & Now Open

Hotels Embassy Suites Atlanta Airport North Atrium

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North in Hapeville offers 178 rooms and 4,521 sq. ft. of total event space among five meeting  rooms. Plus, it’s located less than a 10-minute drive from the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) and only five minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

 

Dining & Entertainment

Groups can enjoy an off-site outing or event at the District’s upscale beer bar—Brass Tap Hapeville—which features 60 craft beers on tap, including 200+ imports and local craft beers.

Savor the flavor of the authentic Thai cuisine found at Paper Plane in Hapeville. The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor seating and private dining space, plus it is available for a full buyout.

Groups can get their brunch at The Breakfast Boys right on Main Street in College Park. Serving brunch all day, this eatery features an eclectic vibe you won’t find anywhere else and offers private dining for up to 65.

Your group is in for big laughs and good times at the Original Uptown Comedy Corner. The venue has been the place for live urban comedy in Atlanta and the country for many years. Hilton hotelRecently renovated in January 2022, the Hilton Atlanta Airport features a new lobby and on-site restaurants for groups to rejuvenate after a day of meetings.

New Developments in the Works

Hotels

The 148-room Home2Suites by Hilton Gateway Center and the 105-room TRU by Hilton Gateway Center are two new hotels slated to open in the first quarter of 2023—each of which will offer more opportunities for top-notch meeting accommodations in the District.

 

Transportation/Getting Around

Big things are coming to the District in the winter of 2023, especially when it comes to elevating the connectivity and convenience of meeting. The new Gateway Pedestrian Bridge and Trail Project is set to connect the Gateway Center Campus to Downtown College Park, making it easy for attendees to get to and from more meeting hotels, restaurants and entertainment spots.

 

Entertainment & EateriesAtlanta Printmaker Studio Rendering

Groups can get ready to paint the town red at Atlanta Printmaker Studio—a new and exciting venue that doubles as an eclectic art studio,  slated to open in 2023. The 3,000 square feet of studio space is located in Hapeville, which continues to be a community with a growing arts scene.

Also opening in 2023 during the springtime is Junior's Pizza. Founded in 2017 as a monthly pop-up, the pizzeria’s second location will serve a variety of iconic pizza styles using high quality ingredients for attendees to grab a slice in between sessions.
