40th Annual Sickle Cell Road Race/Walk
The 40th Annual Road Race/Walk is held in order to enlighten the community about sickle cell disease and trait.
In conjunction with the City of East Point, the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. is proud to announce the 40th Annual Sickle Cell Road Race and Walk taking place April 13th at Tri-Cities High School! Run the challenging 7K/4.3 mile course or walk the comfortable 4K/2.5 mile course down Main Street and through the diverse East Point, Georgia communities. The 7K run is chip-timed, courses are certified and it is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Join us in the ATL Airport District for this family-friendly event with mobile van and healthcare staff on hand to conduct tests for sickle cell disease and traits, live entertainment & refreshments.
