College Park, Ga. (March 31, 2015) – Meet College Park, Georgia (Meet CPGA), recently announced that Kristin Schneider has joined the team as a sales manager for the flourishing destination marketing organization.

A familiar face in College Park, Schneider comes to Meet CPGA from selling meeting space at world-class convention facility, Georgia International Convention Center. Her extensive background in pharmaceutical sales at Arbor Pharmaceuticals coupled with her experience serving as an assistant coach in women’s basketball at both Vanderbilt and Xavier Universities makes Schneider a fitting addition to the team in selling College Park as a leading destination for meetings, conventions and leisure.

In addition to bringing teamwork, patience and flexibility to the organization, Schneider’s responsibilities include identifying and coordinating business in states west of the Mississippi as well as the Washington D.C. market, and joining the rest of the Meet CPGA team in promoting the city of College Park as a superior location for meeting and convention planners, both domestically and internationally.

“We are excited to welcome Kristin to the Meet College Park team as we continue to grow the organization and develop our services to their fullest potential,” says Cookie Smoak, president of Meet CPGA. “Her dedication to College Park as well as her outstanding experience as a team player in both her personal and professional experience makes her a strong asset to our sales team.”

Following the success of the second annual College Park Restaurant Week, the Meet CPGA team will continue to expand the city’s hospitality programming and position College Park as a top location for meetings and events.
