Accessing the ATL SkyTrain from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
Once you’ve collected your baggage, the SkyTrain building is just outside the glass double-doors. Look for the overhead signs directing you there. Questions? Visit the information desk in the airport arrivals lobby or ask airport staff.
- If you’re coming from the South terminal baggage claim, exit through the doors marked W2. Follow the crosswalk to the SkyTrain building.
- If you’re coming from the North terminal baggage claim, exit through the doors marked W1. Follow the crosswalk to the SkyTrain building.
SkyTrain Route Stops
The ATL SkyTrain stops in three places:
What’s at the airport? Well, obviously, the airport is at the airport, but that’s not all! You’ll also find over 300 restaurants and retailers (some of which you can get to without going through security), plus an art gallery—and best of all, the Airport Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Station, connecting Hartsfield-Jackson to all of Greater Atlanta. You’ll find the MARTA station right next to the doors leading to the ATL SkyTrain station at the baggage terminal, so once you reach the airport, the transition couldn’t be easier.
Next Stop, Gateway Center (GICC Station)
Here, you'll find...
- The Georgia International Convention Center (GICC)
- Gateway Center Arena @ College Park
- AC Hotel by Marriott Atlanta Airport Gateway
- Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway
- Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport College Park
- Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway
- SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Airport Gateway
- Tru by Hilton Atlanta Airport College Park
- ATL West Parking
Here’s a local secret: to attend a meeting at the GICC, basketball game or other event at the Gateway Center Arena without driving or parking hassles, you can hop on MARTA from anywhere, ride on down to Airport Station, and switch to the adjacent ATL SkyTrain. It's a quick, free connection that drops you right where you need to be. The ATL SkyTrain never stops, but check MARTA’s hours before you go, because those trains take a break overnight.
